We are pleased to confirm your reservation for Rock Creek Park Adventure class on July 19, 2020, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in Rock Creek Park.

We will meet at the Rock Creek Park Picnic Area #6 which is located on the northwest side of Military Road and Beach Road.

DIRECTIONS: Military Road runs east-west between Connecticut Avenue and 16th Street N.W. Once on Military Road, the road will lead you downhill over Beach Drive N.W. Take the exit for Joyce Road and drive under Military Road heading North on Beach Drive. Picnic Area #6 parking is immediately after the underpass on the left.

Recommended Equipment:

• Digital camera with a landscape lens. (18 - 105mm focal range)
• Filters including Circular Polarizer, Graduated Neutral Density, and Neutral Density (6 stop or variable).
• Tripod (required for slow exposures) and trigger switch if available.
• Clean memory card and fully charged battery along with an extra of each.
• It is always suggested to bring your camera manual for reference.
• Water and a snack are good to have on hand.

COVID-10 Safety Practices: Students are required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing (6’) during the class.

Self-Screening Health Assessment: In the past 24 hours, if you have felt feverish, been coughing regularly, had shortness of breath, muscle pains, loss of taste or smell, a sore throat or diarrhea, then we ask that you stay home and contact your healthcare provider for advice. Additionally, if you have been traveling or have had close contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 we ask that you stay home and self-quarantine for 14 days.

Class Cancellation Policy for registrations after June 1: When canceling a class, we would prefer and appreciate as much notice as possible. - If you are feeling ill, are exposed to a person who has COVID 19, or answer yes to any of the questions on the Self Screening Health Assessment, we ask that you stay home. In these cases we will give you a credit code for the full amount of your purchase which can be applied toward the purchase of any future in-person class. - If there is another shutdown due to the Pandemic and a class is canceled due to that, we will issue a credit code for the full amount of your purchase which can be applied toward the purchase of any future class. - If we cancel a class due to low registration, you can choose a credit code toward a future class or a full refund. - Students wishing to switch classes or dates will need to give 5 days notice. At this time there will be no fee to change.
